NCHT events

Talks: Visitors are welcome to attend all lectures at a cost of £5. The AGM, however, is for members only.

Visits and guided tours: Visitors may join these at a cost of £5 unless other prices are marked.

Where an event is to be held on Zoom, invitations will be automatically issued to NCHT members who have given us their email addresses. Non-members can email nchtevents@gmail.com for an invitation.

Thursday 15th May at 7.30pm. Michael Pearson on ‘The Ecology of Dry Stone Walls’.

Venue: Austwick Village Hall.

4 June 25

For our June event on Wednesday 4th, we will have the great good fortune to be taken by Trevor Nicholson, the Head Gardener at Harewood House, on a guided walk on the Clapham Nature Trail. It will focus on rhododendrons and the collection of Reginald Farrer, a Clapham plant collector and exotic seed-gatherer. Details here.

14 August 2025

The August event is a walk/talk on the work of the North Craven Building Preservation Trust with Heather Lane. Visiting The Folly, Zion Chapel and Dr Buck’s House on Thursday 14th August at 2pm.

The final details (such as booking details for the visits) will be  confirmed in due course.

Tuesday 9th September at 7.30pm. ‘Underground and Overground – the archaeological caves and landscapes of Ingleborough Common’ by Rick Peterson.
