On Tuesday the 14th of April, at 2.30 pm, Mike Slater will present a talk on ‘ Life in Medieval Giggleswick ‘. Venue: Long Preston Village Hall.

Tom Lord took us back in time by "Spinning a Yarn -  Craven’s Lost Wood Sheep". His talk was on Wednesday, 4th February 2026. Tom included this Youtube clip within his talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUg2RdIbcao&t=18s It was filmed at Winskill and is an excellent demonstration, with the evidence, of the development of field systems in our local upland farms.
